Website and Ordering Terms

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These terms apply when you use the Blom & Co website, create an account or place an order. By submitting an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, that you are legally capable of entering into the purchase, and that you accept these terms. These terms do not limit any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable South African law.

2. PRODUCTS, COLOURS AND AVAILABILITY
We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours and textures may appear differently depending on your screen and lighting. Measurements and fit notes are guides, and small variations may occur in handmade or small-batch garments. Products remain subject to availability until your order is accepted. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.

3. PLACING AND ACCEPTING AN ORDER
You place an order by selecting your items, providing the required customer and delivery details, choosing an available delivery option and submitting the order at checkout. The first order email acknowledges that we received your order; it does not by itself mean that we have accepted it. We accept a customer order when payment has been confirmed and we confirm that the order is being processed. Approved retailer orders are also subject to the retailer's agreed account terms and any required administrator approval.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance for a legitimate reason, including unavailable stock, failed or unverified payment, an obvious pricing or product-description error, suspected unauthorised or fraudulent activity, delivery limitations, or a breach of these terms. If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will notify you and refund the amount paid using the original payment method as soon as reasonably practicable.

4. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are shown in South African Rand. Any delivery charge and the final order total are displayed before you submit the order. If VAT applies, it is included in the displayed price unless the website clearly states otherwise. Payment options shown at checkout may be provided by third-party payment providers and are subject to their security checks and terms. Blom & Co does not store your complete payment-card number or security code.

5. ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Please check the item, size, colour, quantity, contact details and delivery selection before submitting your order. Contact us promptly if you need to request a change or cancellation. We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee a change after payment, stock allocation, packing or dispatch. This does not affect a cancellation or return right available to you under applicable law.

6. DELIVERY
South African orders are delivered using PUDO, either from a PUDO locker to your selected PUDO locker or from a PUDO locker to an eligible home or physical address. The available service, charge and delivery estimate are shown during checkout. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly guarantee a date in writing. You must provide accurate delivery and contact details and collect a locker parcel within PUDO's stated collection period. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, missed delivery or uncollected parcel may be charged where permitted by law and disclosed to you.

For delivery outside South Africa, contact us before ordering. Any international delivery arrangement, price, duties, taxes and estimated timeframe must be confirmed in writing before the order is accepted.

7. ONLINE COOLING-OFF AND CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Where the cooling-off right in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel an online purchase of goods without reason or penalty within seven days after receiving the goods. You may be responsible only for the direct cost of returning the goods. We will refund payments as required by applicable law. Statutory exclusions may apply to certain goods, including goods made or altered to your specifications.

For a change-of-mind return, please contact us before sending the item. Keep the item unworn, unused, unwashed and in a resaleable condition with its original tags and, where reasonably possible, its original packaging. We may inspect a return to confirm its condition. These condition requirements do not remove your rights when goods are incorrect, defective, unsafe or not as described.

8. INCORRECT, DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item is incorrect, arrives damaged, or appears defective, and include your order number and photographs where helpful. Goods are covered by the statutory warranty of quality in the Consumer Protection Act. Where that Act applies and goods fail to meet its required standards within six months after delivery, the available remedy may include repair, replacement or refund at the consumer's direction, subject to the Act. We will carry the reasonable return cost where the law requires us to do so.

9. REFUNDS
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method unless another method is required or agreed. Bank and payment-provider processing times are outside our direct control. Promotional discounts reduce the refundable purchase amount, and a used promotion code is not automatically reissued. Any deduction or return cost will be applied only where these terms and applicable law permit it.

10. PROMOTIONS AND WEBSITE ERRORS
A promotion is subject to its displayed dates, eligibility rules, stock limits and any promotion-specific terms. Promotions cannot be combined unless we say otherwise. We may correct an obvious publication, technical, pricing or description error, but will not use this provision to avoid an order that has been validly accepted where the law does not permit cancellation.

11. ACCOUNTS AND ACCEPTABLE USE
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for telling us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You may not misuse the website, attempt to bypass its security, submit false information, interfere with its operation, or use its content or services unlawfully. We may suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the website or our legal rights.

12. PERSONAL INFORMATION
We process personal information to operate accounts, accept and fulfil orders, arrange delivery, prevent fraud, provide customer service and meet legal obligations. Please read our Privacy page for more information. Payment providers and delivery partners process the information needed to provide their services.

13. RETAILER ACCOUNTS
Retailer access, prices, credit limits, payment periods, delivery arrangements and order approval may be governed by additional written terms agreed with the retailer. If those additional terms conflict with these website terms, the specifically agreed retailer terms apply to the retailer transaction to the extent permitted by law.

14. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND LIABILITY
We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for an indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the order was accepted. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.

15. CHANGES, GOVERNING LAW AND SEVERABILITY
We may update these terms for future website use and orders. The terms displayed when you submit an order apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. South African law governs these terms. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
