Washing Instructions • Water Temperature: Use cold or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water, which can break down the spandex/elastane elasticity over time. • Machine vs. Hand Wash: Turn the garment inside out and wash on a gentle or delicate cycle. Place the item in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection. • Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach, which permanently damages elastic fibres, and skip fabric softeners (which can coat the fibres and trap odours or bacteria). • Separation: Wash with similar colours. • Drying and Ironing • Drying: Air-dry by laying the garment flat on a clean towel or hanging it in the shade away from direct sunlight. If using a tumble dryer, select a low-heat setting. Avoid high heat, which causes shrinkage in the cotton and destroys the stretch in the spandex. • Wringing: Do not wring or twist the wet fabric, as this stretches out the elastic fibres; instead, gently press out excess water. • Ironing: If needed, iron on a low-temperature setting or use a steamer. Ironing on high heat can melt or distort the spandex.
